WHAT DOES THE FUTURE LOOK LIKE FOR HIV TREATMENT?

HIV treatment has come a long way since the virus was discovered more than 30 years ago, but greater advancements will be needed until it is eradicated.

While eradication is still beyond the horizon, the future is expected to bring developments that will have life-altering effects in two ways: longer-acting drugs and therapeutic vaccines.
