HOURS 28 (4 days) per week
As a key member of the team at Positively UK you will play a pivotal role in our provision of quality and effective support for people living with HIV by ensuring the smooth running of the organisation’s administration, finance and operations functions. You will be responsible for financial administration including petty cash, organising office spaces and liaise with Needs Space, working closely with the CEO supporting HR and project administration. Your role will include supporting a small team of volunteers.
We are the leading provider of peer support for people living with HIV, providing support to over 1,400 people living with HIV every year with specific projects for women, gay men and young people. We are committed the greater involvement of people living with HIV and we train people living with HIV in peer support and provide a variety of volunteering opportunities. We host the biennial conference of people living with HIV, and we ensure people living with HIV have opportunities to challenge Stigma and discrimination and increase their voices and visibility through campaigns such as Changing Perceptions and events like the Catwalk4Power.
