This year’s edition will be joined by the charismatic Dr Mapara who will provide a fresh glimpse of the anatomy of female pleasure. MAC Cosmetics make up artists will once again boost our self-love by adding a little sparkle to our looks. Sh! Store – the award-winning erotic emporium – will feature products and create a liberating space for us to explore our intimate side away from pressure or stereotypes. We will start at 11:00 with a peer-led exploration of R.E.S.P.E.C.T. (Relationships, Empowerment, Sex, Pleasure, Emotions, Connection, Trust).
Share experiences, explore the meaning of good relationships and what gives pleasure, learn from each other, and have fun.
Increase awareness around healthy relationships and how to identify when relationships are unhealthy or abusive, and share strategies to overcome challenges and access support.
Improve understanding of the physiology and anatomy of female pleasure.
Support self- love, self-care, and express sexuality and desire in a way that is authentic and respectful of women’s needs and experiences.
We want to create a safe space for us, women living with HIV, to share our experiences, explore intimacy, relationships, sex and pleasure, learn from each other, and have fun.
We respect and celebrate that as women living with HIV we are diverse in regard to sexuality and gender identity. We are lesbian, bisexual, trans, queers, cis and straight women. If you have a question on any of those identities you can ask on the day!
We recognise that for some of us sex and pleasure can be a difficult topic to talk about openly. We encourage those of us who may have any comments, questions, difficult emotions, that they prefer to address anonymously, to write them on a piece of paper and drop it in the ‘magic hat’ which will be in the room. We will look at those questions during the breaks
Feel free, if you would like some special one-to-one support, to ask any of our facilitators or volunteers.

Creche and snacks will be provided, as well as travel expenses cover for people with limited resources.
